Nigerian general election,2023

The dates of February 25 and March 11, 2023, will see a substantial portion of the Nigerian elections. On February 25, voters will choose a new President and Vice President; the current President, Muhammadu Buhari, is not eligible to run because his term is restricted. [1] Additionally, elections for the Senate and the House of Representatives will take place on the same day. On March 11, elections for state houses of assembly and twenty-eight governors will take place in all 36 states. Later in the year, there will be two more gubernatorial elections, as well as possible reruns of earlier in the year’s regularly scheduled elections that were canceled.
